This includes conservation treatment and preventive conservation activities. Although capable of treating special and rare materials, the Lab primarily focus on care of the general research collection, which includes books, series, printed items, and maps.</font></p> <p align="left"><font size="2">The Conservation Lab is the only one in the University Libraries System.
